The Philippines' National Book Development Board (Filipino: Pambansang Lupon sa Pagpapaunlad ng Aklat), abbreviated as NBDB, is an agency of the Philippine government under the Department of Education responsible for developing and supporting the Philippine book publishing industry.

Inaasahang sa pamamagitan ng modyul na ito, maisasagawa mo ang mga sumusunod:
1. Nakikilala ang mga tiyak na bahagi ng isang liham
2. Nabibigyang-halaga ang wastong paggamit ng bantas sa pagsulat ng liham
3. Nakapagdadaglat ng magagalang na pantawag sa mga taong susulatan.
4. Nalilinang ang pagkamalikhain sa pagsulat ng iba’t ibang uri ng liham
5. Nakikilala ang mga anyo ng liham na maaaring gamitin sa pagsulat ng liham-aplikasyon
6. Naipakikita ang sariling istilo sa pagsulat ng liham
